London Red Bus

Route 25, Oxford Circus to Stratford

How to play
  1. The bus drives itself. Hold Go to go faster, hold Brake to slow or stop. Let go of Brake and it pulls away again. At red lights it waits for green on its own.
  2. Stop in the yellow box. Every passenger taps on and pays the fare.
  3. When the bell rings, someone wants the next stop. Drop them for a tip, miss it and you refund them.
  4. Stop at red lights. Run one and the camera fines you 20 coins.
  5. Hear a siren? Move left so the ambulance or police can pass. Block it and you're fined.
  6. Green chevrons give a short turbo. Tap Brake to cancel it. Grab power-ups and swipe up to hop roadworks.
  7. Playing on a TV? Turn your phone sideways, then use Screen Mirroring on iPhone or Cast on Android.

      Privacy notice

      Last updated 1 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data London Red Bus uses, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy rules on device storage.

      Who is responsible

DevTalks Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16600721, registered office 74 Lambscroft Avenue, London SE9 4PB. Email: info@devtalksltd.com. Instagram: @devtalksltd.

      What we use and why

Game progress on your device. Your coins, best score, garage items, shop boosts, music and sound settings, and the name you type for the leaderboard are saved in your browser's storage. This stays on your device and we cannot see it. We use it only so the game remembers your progress, which is strictly necessary for the game you asked to play, so no consent banner is needed. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Leaderboard, only if you post a score. When you tap Post score we store the name you chose, your score, the date and a random player ID created on your device, with our hosting provider Netlify, Inc., which may process it in the United States under appropriate safeguards. Your name and score are shown to other players. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by choosing to post. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time. Please use a nickname, not your real name.

Fonts. The game loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page opens. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in displaying the game properly. Google may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension.

Podcast player. If you choose the podcast option in the Music menu, Spotify's player loads inside the game. Spotify may then set cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy. Nothing loads from Spotify unless you choose that option.

Game statistics. On the game's website, the game counts plays so we can see how many people play and improve the game: a visit, a run started and a run's final score, together with the random player ID created on your device, the route and whether night mode or the home-screen app was used. No names, emails or IP addresses are stored, and nothing is shared with anyone else. We rely on the exemption for statistics in UK law and on our legitimate interests. You can turn this off for this device at any time:

Hosting. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the service secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in security.

      What we do not do

      • No advertising and no ad tracking.
      • No third-party analytics and no tracking cookies.
      • We never sell your data.
      • We make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.

      Payments

Coin packs are not on sale yet and no payment details are collected. Before purchases open, we will update this notice to explain how our payment provider handles your data.

      Children

London Red Bus is designed to be safe for all ages. We do not ask for age, location, contact details or photos. The only personal data a player can share is a leaderboard name, so children should use a nickname. If you are a parent and want an entry removed, contact us and we will delete it.

      How long we keep data

Leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard runs, or until you ask us to delete them. Device data stays until you clear it. Hosting logs are kept for no more than 30 days.

      Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier use. To use these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

      Changes

If this notice changes, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell players in the game.

      Terms of use

      Last updated 1 October 2026

By playing London Red Bus you agree to these terms. Please read them with our privacy notice.

      About us

DevTalks Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16600721, registered office 74 Lambscroft Avenue, London SE9 4PB. Email: info@devtalksltd.com. Instagram: @devtalksltd.

London Red Bus is inspired by Lagos Run and made with its creator's permission. It is not connected with, sponsored or endorsed by Transport for London or any bus operator. Music services and radio stations named in the game belong to their owners and are mentioned only as examples.

      Playing the game

The game is free to play for personal, non-commercial use. Please play fairly: do not cheat, tamper with scores or coins, or try to disrupt the game. Leaderboard names must not be offensive, hateful, or impersonate someone else. We may remove names or scores that break these rules.

Never play while driving or crossing a real road.

      Coins and items

Coins, boosts, paints and horns are virtual items for use only in London Red Bus. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred. They are stored on your device, so clearing your browser data or changing device may remove them. We may change items, prices or earning rates to keep the game balanced.

      Buying coins

Coin packs are not on sale yet. When they are, the full price in pounds, including VAT, will be shown before you pay. Coins are digital content supplied straight away, so at checkout you will be asked to agree to immediate delivery and to confirm you understand that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel. This does not affect your legal rights if a purchase is faulty or not delivered. Players under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian before buying.

      Ownership

The game's code, artwork, sounds and text belong to DevTalks Ltd or are used with permission. The London landmarks are original drawings. You may share screenshots and your scores, but you may not copy, resell or republish the game.

      Availability

We provide the game as it is and may update, pause or end it. We aim to keep it running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

      Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected. Otherwise we are not responsible for loss of virtual items or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen.

      Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or an EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts.

      Contact

Questions about these terms can go to info@devtalksltd.com or @devtalksltd on Instagram.
